Writing has always been a huge part of my life. From writing short stories as a little girl to interviewing community change-makers to blogging about my life as a mom, the written word has always been my go-to. It is my favorite form of expression.

Having a creative outlet has always been very important to me. Sometimes, when the words don’t flow as easily as I’d like, I need to find another way to move that energy.
I’ve always dabbled with design. What millennial kid didn’t love playing with the ClipArt fonts in Microsoft Word for special projects? I took that basic love and created invitational cards for special events. Then, in 2020, I decided to learn the fundamentals of web and graphic design.

A camera has always been my favorite accessory. Whether it’s family events, walking around whatever city I’m in, or chasing after my kids, there is so much beauty in the world that I want to capture.
